Dance party teen admits to 390 MDMA pills

An 18-year-old girl has been convicted and ordered to perform community service after admitting to supplying about 390 MDMA capsules at a Sydney dance party.

An 18-year-old girl who tried to smuggle 390 MDMA capsules into a deadly Sydney dance festival has avoided jail. Tina Thanh Truc Phan on Thursday admitted in court to supplying a prohibited drug while at the Knockout Games of Destiny at Sydney Olympic Park on December 8.

Sydney teenager Callum Brosnan died of a suspected overdose hours after the hardstyle dance party while three others were taken to hospital in critical conditions.

Phan - one of more than 60 people found with drugs on her - pleaded guilty to the single offence of supplying a prohibited drug in Burwood Local Court.

She was placed on a 12-month community correction order on the condition she performs 80 hours of community service and doesn't commit any more offences.

More than 18,000 people attended the Knockout festival to dance to the music of Psyko Punkz, Rebel[ut]ion and D-Block & S-te-Fan.
